This compact outdoor retreat seamlessly blends an inviting entertainment space with fragrant, low-maintenance plantings and productive vegetable beds. With the site’s unique dimensions and angles, meticulous planning was essential to achieve both functionality and visual harmony. A low-profile deck with integrated bench seating creates a relaxed setting for gathering, while a poured-concrete barbecue plinth elevates the cooking experience and protects the deck from wear.

Celebrating the client’s love of art, the design thoughtfully incorporates her personal collection of sculptures and ceramics transforming the garden into a curated open-air gallery brimming with character. The result is a refined, highly functional space tailored to her lifestyle and creative sensibilities.
